On the field, he helps to bring victory to his team. At home, he helps to raise the next big soccer phenomenon - Brooklyn Beckham. The BB is going to be very famous some day. “He’s got a great strike on him, a great right foot, and he kept the ball up 64 times. Pretty good for his age,” David Beckham was quoted saying in The Mirror. Filed under: David Beckham Comments: None |
It often seems that David Beckham changes his hair style more often than Posh herself. Which look do you think suits Beckham best? I like him with a ponytail. Filed under: David Beckham Comments: None |
During a radio phone-in, David revealed that he preferred ballet shoes and knickerbockers to wearing a suit when he was younger! He was quoted saying, “My dad gave me a little bit of stick but I was happy.” Filed under: David Beckham and Interviews Comments: None |
She went by the name of Jodi Price. They met on a plane when they were 15 and David said to her in his funny English accent: “I fink I’m in luv,” reports The Mirror. She kissed him, but didn’t say anything back. Jodi, a girl with blue eyes and a Texan drawl who got married just 18 months ago, said of Beckham, “Everything fitted together. Me and him, both 15, both soccer-mad, same friends. And just a chance meeting…” She thought he was a bit skinny, but he kept making her laugh. So they kept in touch for the next two years as Beckham began his career at Manchester United, writing letters, sending cards and exchanging presents. Then, she got a jealous boyfriend and she had to throw away all the stuff David sent her. And that’s where the story ends. Filed under: David Beckham Comments: 2 Comments |
David has bought Victoria a book for Christmas, reports the Sun. But not just any book, a limited edition signed VALENTINO book worth a whopping £750! It is one of just 2000 copies of “First name in fashion: The glamorous life and work of Valentino Garavani”. Ok, at least it’s fashion related… can’t imagine why Posh would want a book otherwise. David Beckham’s odd tendencies are driving Posh crazy! “In our house in Spain we used to have this big rug that when you hoovered it, you could do it in lines like Wembley,” he told chat show host Michael Parkinson. “Victoria used to catch me after the kids had gone to bed, doing the hoovering, and it would all be in perfect lines.” “I have to have everything in the right place and she finds it very annoying,” he added. “Also cans of drinks in the fridge… I have to have four, four, four instead of four, five, four. Odd things like that she has remarked upon.” The Beckingham palace where David and Victoria Beckham live.

Beckham was interviewed by the people at TVNZ. Becks is in New Zealand right now for the Galaxy’s exhibition match against Wellington Phoenix on Saturday. Filed under: Athletic Life and David Beckham Comments: None |
Well Becks did not start the game as Croatia went up 2 nill. He came in the second half and assisted the tying goal only to have Croatia score in the last couple minutes to win. Because of this Steve McClaren, the England manager, was fired two days after the loss. On a side note, Becks is in Australia for a exhibition match with Galaxy against Sydney FC.
