Well I am sure everyone has heard Galaxy did not make the MLS playoffs.  They lost 1-0 to Chicago when the Fire scored in extra time.  Beckham played for the last 30 and played pretty well except for the ball he gave away for the goal.  Here is what he had to say in the post game news conference.

“I’ll be keeping on training and keeping fit,” said Beckham, “I might take maybe three weeks, four weeks doing nothing. Apart from that I’ll be working all the way through.”

Galaxy head coach Frank Yallop said, “It’s not easy. You’re under the microscope the whole time since we signed David, I’m not saying it’s David’s fault or anything, but you are under the microscope as a team.  I think we struggled with it to start, but I think in the end we did get rid of the pressure, and we just played.”
