Update on Loos following the Beckham’s to LA
Posted on 09.13.07 by admin @ 4:58 pm

This is a follow up to the this story.  According to the Daily Star, an insider claimed “Rebecca is ready to make the move across the pond and, of course, she will be dropping David Beckham’s name at every opportunity.”  The insider also said “All she is interested in is cracking America. She isn’t bothered if she upsets a few people along the way.”

Loos apparently is not concerned about running into the Beckhams telling TMZ: “If I saw them in LA I wouldn’t avoid them. I don’t know what I would say, but I’m sure Victoria would talk to me.  There are plenty of gorgeous girls in LA. I don’t know if David is going to be a good boy.”

What a bitch, our boy doesn’t need her propaganda!

Victoria attends Fashion Week in NYC

As many know, it is fashion week in New York, and of course, Victoria Beckham made a few glamorous appearances. Her main look? Short and tight. She has been spotted in a number of dresses which include a red, short and tight mini dress, a strapless tangerine dress which she wore to the famous Cipriani Downtown, a green print mini dress for the Oscar de la Renta show, and then was finally seen in an EXTREMELY form fitting Herve Leger bandage dress at the Marc Jacobs collection show. Aside from her glamorous and very “posh” look, she was recently spotted at LAX without sunglasses! Yes, she had to be a normal human being for maybe a minute.

Beckham’s scandalous assistant is in LA!
Posted on 09.12.07 by admin @ 7:51 pm

Rebecca Loos

In 2003, Beckham had an alleged affair with his assistant Rebecca Loos, a fake breasted employee of SPX management company.  She is now supposedly in town discussing a possible reality TV show with some Hollywood producers.  What could this show possibly be about…sex for fame, how to piss of Vicky?  How awkward will it be for Victoria when this chick steps on her new stomping grounds?  The Beckham’s cannot stay away from drama!

Lalas fires back at Manchester United for Beckham
Posted on 09.11.07 by admin @ 10:37 am

beckhamchivas.jpg

About a week ago Sir Alex Ferguson, the manager of the English Premier team Manchester United, said Beckham would fail at trying to make soccer the most popular sport in America. Lalas fired back at and said he wanted Galaxy to be a super club that the whole world knows about. In order for Galaxy to be a super club they need to win first and then consistently win year after year. Lalas also said he wanted to attract other star players such as Figo, but why not make star players on his home turf?

Here is the original interview from the Daily Mail with Alexi Lalas:

David Beckham’s boss at LA Galaxy has hit back at claims by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson that the midfielder will not be able to make ’soccer’ popular in the USA.

Ferguson last week claimed that Beckham would be unable to have much impact on American sporting tastes and would fail where Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyff and others had failed in the past.

But LA Galaxy director of football Alexi Lalas insists that Beckham, who is currently injured, will help make the club one of the biggest in the world. He said: “We want to be a super club. We want anyone in London, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, when they think of football to think of LA Galaxy. We want Galaxy to be the best.

“The main reason David Beckham came is the quality of the player. He came to compete at the highest level and to help us win. It’s important to have big names in order to attract attention and raise the level of play. It’s important to sign great players who are good on the field and have charisma away from it. It’s important to have that type of player to attract people.” He added that he one day hopes to bring veteran stars such as Inter’s Luis Figo and Benfica’s Rui Costa to join Beckham as part of the club’s intended development.

The former US international added: “You only have to see the new stadiums, the great players, the public. In a few years soccer can become the most important sport in America.

“Be it in a stadium of 20,000 people, or a dirt pitch around the corner, I adore football. I’m American, but I’m aware that I’m part of the world and on a worldwide scale it’s the most important sport, the one that brings the most people together. I like that a lot.” He believes that US football is already more competitive than European football in some respects. “We’re more competitive. In Europe there are always three or four clubs which win championships, have more money and the best players. Here, any team can win the league,” said Lalas.

The Beckham’s new ’sultry’ photo shoot

David and Victoria Beckham have done another photo shoot. This time it was for their new fragrance line. In the shots, David and Victoria pose in a “sultry, semi-pornographic embrace under crisp white bed linen.” David has been quoted saying, “”Not many people see this side of us and I think that’s what’s great about having a fragrance like this. It’s a way of us showing our dark side.” They want to reveal this “dark side” through their scent “Intimately Beckham Night”. Victoria said that her and David are very intimate….like we didn’t guess this already…btw the above photos are from another shoot

Beckham invited to England Legends XI
Posted on 09.09.07 by admin @ 7:04 pm

Becks has been invited to play for the England Legends XI in December.  Becks should be healthy by then (check the projected injury time clock to the right=) ).  The England Legends team is an English all star team set to play against a world all star team for fund raising purposes.

Original article from Soccernet:

David Beckham has been offered the chance to play for an ‘England Legends’ XI in December as he bids to shake off his troublesome knee injury.

Beckham has not been at full fitness since playing through pain at the end of last season with Real Madrid and has been available only intermittently for both England and his new club Los Angeles Galaxy.

His withdrawal from the 3-0 Euro 2008 qualifying win over Israel at Wembley yesterday - and the clash with Russia which takes place on Wednesday night - has given Shaun Wright-Phillips the chance to stake his claim for the right-wing position.

But Beckham has already been offered the chance to represent his country again in a PFA XI coached by Terry Venables as they take on a World XI led by former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson at the City of Manchester Stadium on December 2.

PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor said: ‘We have invited David, who is an ambassador in our centenary year, to play at the City of Manchester Stadium.

‘If he is available we would want him to play for the England Legends team.

‘But it all depends on the commitments his club in America, LA Galaxy, might have at that time.’

The general manager of Penguin China said that the book is going to “add something very new to the range of style and fashion guides currently available in China. In addition to China, the rights of the book have already been sold in the US, Holland, Japan, Portugal, Lithuania, and Russia. ..Just more money that Victoria gets to spend!

Beckham blogs about his injury
Posted on 09.07.07 by admin @ 8:26 pm

Becks posted this to his blog on Wednesday, I just forgot to add it. Here it is:

Last week was an incredibly frustrating one as far as football goes. To get back to fitness and then get injured again so quickly is very disappointing, but I’ll be doing everything I can to get back playing as soon as possible. I’ve started the rehabilitation process and I’m working hard to get back on the pitch again.
Of course, I’m disappointed that I won’t be joining up with the England squad, but I wish the lads all the best for the qualifiers.
There’s definitely enough quality to get the right results against Israel and Russia, and although I’m the first to admit I’m not the best armchair fan I’ll be cheering on the lads from home.
Anyway, that’s all for now. I’ll keep you posted on how things go with my recovery.

Speak to you soon

David

Beckham wants out of MLS for 4 months
Posted on 09.06.07 by admin @ 9:48 pm

I was watching the Chivas USA game and ESPN threw up a blurb that Becks wanted out of the MLS for 4 months to train in England for the Euro 2008 qualifiers. He would leave in the beginning of 2008 and come back around June 2008. The report also said that he would be willing to take a pay cut from his 250 million dollar contract.  This move would only be a loan, so nothing would be permanent.

I heard speculation of this from various news sources such as Sky Sports but nothing concrete has been set. I would not know what to think of this move but it frustrates me that he would need to train in England to get prepped for Euro 2008.
