Jurgen Klinsmann, the coach of the German 2006 World Cup Team and soccer legend, praised the impact of David Beckham in the United States. “It caused a stir with the kids and with youths even though the people weren’t really sure about the level of play in his club or in the league” said Klinsmann. He also said that Becks has had the desired ‘big bang’ effect on American soccer. Klinsmann, who could possibly coach LA Galaxy next year, claims “His arrival has made a huge Impact. Suddenly, people who before had no interest about soccer are folowing it.” Klinsman has also been rumored to possibly coach Chelsea or Tottenham, two top English Premier League teams, in the near future. Both teams are struggling with there management and Klinsmann played for Tottenham in the 1994-1995 season. Klinsmann now lives in Newport Beach, CA.
