Sorry for not posting lately. I have been in the middle of my college pre-season for soccer, so I have been super busy.

I’m sure everyone heard Becks got his first goal and assist on Wednesday. The free kick, shown below, was about 25 out and hit side netting. The keeper guessed the wrong way but even if he had gone to his right, he wouldn’t have had a chance. His assist came in early in the second half when he slipped Donovan, the left back for DC donkeyed it, and Donovan scored. He played really well but still needs to defend. Word to your mother.

BTW Beckham played the game with the captain’s arm band.
